Premier League: Arsenal Vs Everton Free Match Preview For Friday 23rd April, 2021.

Arsenal have only managed to win one of their last four Premier League games, recording two draws and one loss in that time. However, the managed to book their spot in the Europa League semi-finals with ease last week, overcoming Slavia Prague 5-1 on aggregate. 

Arsenal needed a 97th-minute goal from Eddie Nketiah to snatch a 1-1 draw against Fulham last time out. Despite enjoying 70% possession against the relegation strugglers, Mikel Arteta’s men were wasteful throughout the match.

Everton have failed to win any of their previous five league matches. Having suffered losses to Chelsea and Burnley last month, three straight draws. Crystal Palace, Brighton and Tottenham have all taken points off the Toffees in April, denting the club’s top-four hopes in the process.

Everton have only managed to win three of their last 11 Premier League outings. Everton dominated possession and racked up 18 shots against Spurs, yet they threw away their lead and eventually drew 2-2 last time out. The Toffees have clear missed Dominic Calvert-Lewin recently, as the England striker has been in and out of the side through injury.

Everton clinched a 2-1 win over Arsenal back in December, with Calvert-Lewin netting the winning goal. However, it is worth noting that Everton have only managed to win two of their previous eight league games against Arsenal.

Arsenal will be without the likes of David Luiz, Kieran Tierney and Alexandre Lacazette, while Martin Odegaard and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are both doubts.

Everton will be without midfield duo Abdoulaye Doucoure and Jean-Philippe Gbamin on Friday, although Calvert-Lewin could be available.
