Chelsea To Continue Their Unbeaten Run When They Face Burnley on 31st October.

Burnley in their previous Premier League game against Tottenham at home saw Burnley play a very good and decent football but ultimately lost the match 1-0. They draw at West Bromwich Albion which made it the only point Burnley have won this season. They've lost each of their last 4 games including defeats at Leicester City and Newcastle United and a home loss against Southampton.

Burnley have only won in the League Cup against lower League opposition but they have since been nominated from the tournament by Manchester City. Burnley have failed to score a single goal in their last 4 home games in all competitions. They have suffered 3 consecutive home defeats in the Premier League and have kept just one clean sheets in their last 6 Premier League matches.

Chelsea are coming into this fixture on the back of a 4-0 away win in the Champions League against Krasnodar. It was a good result for Chelsea but they can thank their host due to their poor performance as much as their own  good football. The win saw Chelsea end the run of 3 matches without a win and extends their unbeaten run to 8 matches including the 1-1 draw against Tottenham in the League Cup.

Chelsea have improved defensively in recent weeks and they have kept a clean sheet in each of their last 3 games in all competitions. Over 2.5 goals have been seen in 14 of Chelsea's last 18 matches in the Premier League and they've managed to score at least 2 goals in 23 of their 35 most recent games in all competitions.

Burnley are still without central defender Ben Mee and midfielder Jack Cock due to injury. Erik Pieters and Phil Bardsley are doubts.

Chelsea travel without Billy Gilmour and Kepa who are both injured. N'Golo Kante, Reece James and Mason Mount could start having been on the bench on Wednesday night. Thiago Silva could return in central defense

PREICTION: CHELSEA TO SCORE TWO OR MORE GOALS.
