Bosnia-Herzegovina vs France: The Host To Face A Tough Task Against France On Wednesday 31st March.

Bosnia-Herzegovina have lost just two of their last nine World Cup qualifiers overall which were against Cyprus and Belgium while on home soil, Bosnia have suffered just the two losses from their previous 10 qualifiers. This 10-match sequence includes six defeats of which four have been inflicted upon Bosnia-Herzegovina on home soil with losses incurred against Poland, Northern Ireland, Iran and Italy.

The previous two meetings at home against Wednesday night’s opponents, France, have also ended in defeat for the hosts, losing 2-0 on both occasions which were in a European qualifier and a friendly respectively, and they’ve never beaten the French in any of their previous four encounters.

France have also proved to be tough opponents away from home too in World Cup qualifiers as Les Bleus have made themselves hard to beat on their travels, losing just two of their last 16 matches at this level. 

France have picked up nine wins on the road and along with their previous away wins at Bosnia-Herzegovina, Didier Deschamps’s side look set to add to their points tally here and open up an important lead at the top of the group.

After the 2-0 win away from home at Kazakhstan over the weekend and they’ll be seeking to further extend their lead at the top of the group with a win at the Stadion Grbavica in Sarajevo on Wednesday night.

Having lost just once in their last 17 matches in all competitions, France bring a far superior sequence of results into this upcoming Group D clash against their hosts, Bosnia-Herzegoivina, while also losing just one of their last 13 World Cup qualifiers too.
